Mr. Neff represents clients in trust and estate matters, including planning, administration, taxation and related litigation. He has assisted families, business owners, executives, family offices, fiduciaries and charitable organizations in conserving, managing and transferring wealth and minimizing wealth transfer taxes.

Mr. Neff has served as an expert witness in complex estate litigation, and was lead counsel for residents appearing before the New Jersey Supreme Court in a case of first impression involving the rights of residents in “life care” facilities. He has served on national, state and local professional committees dealing with estate planning matters, and has served in state and local government capacities.

Mr. Neff is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and has served on its committees on Estate Litigation, State Laws, and Business Planning.

Prior to the establishment of Neff Aguilar LLC, Mr. Neff was the senior trust and estate partner of the firm of Pitney Hardin LLP.

Mr. Neff has been selected for inclusion in “Best Lawyers in America,” “New York Area’s Best Lawyers” and “Super Lawyers.” He has addressed national, state, and regional professional organizations on topics involving trusts and estates.
